5 Renovations Completed at HDC Properties

During COVID, HDC was able to complete five renovations at communities around Pennsylvania, amounting to a combined $30 million investment in housing preservation. This work, which was completed over the course of six months in 2021, brought facilities and apartments up-to-date for residents. Communities received new roofs, windows, updates for ADA compliance, and selective upgrades to units based on age and condition. An investment in the preservation of HDC communities is part of our mission to strengthen affordable housing opportunities across our footprint.

Throughout the fall, residents at these five communities – Denney Reyburn Apartments in West Chester, Southgate Apartments in Leesport, Oak Bottom Village in Quarryville, Apartments at Heatherwoods in Denver, and Deer Lake Apartments in Lebanon – enjoyed food and games at community barbeques as a thank you for their patience throughout the process.

Thank you to our partners, Benchmark Construction and Architectural Concepts, LLC, for your dedicated work on these renovations.
