3 New Champions for Resident Services

We cannot support the residents who choose to live in HDC communities without the combined efforts and critical support of many different community partners. In 2022, HDC was excited to build relationships with and receive funding from three new partners to support our Resident Services work. This contribution enables our Resident Services team to help residents maintain housing stability, meet their personal goals, and access programs and services that allow them to thrive.

HDC was honored to receive a $25,000 grant from The Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation, a $10,000 grant from the LINK Foundation, and $7,500 from NiSource Charitable Foundation last year. This support demonstrates the commitment partners are willing to make as champions of affordable housing, ensuring that we can deliver on our mission to support residents every day.

“The LINK Foundation is proud to support HDC MidAtlantic who strives to positively impact the communities they serve,” said the LINK Foundation. “Through their Resident Engagement Initiative, they develop future leaders, a shared pillar of The LINK Foundation. In the first grant cycle of 2022, we were thrilled to be able to support this program with a $10,000 grant. Thank you, HDC MidAtlantic, for passionately developing future leaders and positively impacting lives!”

HDC looks forward to continued community partnership in 2023. Every dollar helps us reach our ultimate goals of advancing equity, providing affordable housing, and ensuring that everyone has a safe place to call home.
